About Ludologium

"A Computational Atlas of Games, Play, Mechanics, and Strategy"

The Epistemic Thesis

Games might be one of the most naturally relational domains in human culture. A game is not an isolated artifact, but a bundle of interconnected causal relationships:

Rules → Mechanics → Incentives → Strategies → Player Behavior → Outcomes → Culture → Technology → Economics

Unlike a traditional game database or review website, Ludologium combines board games, video games, game theory, competitive esports, and historical artifacts under one unified computational model.

Computational Principles

1. State Transition Formalism

Games are modeled as formal state machines $M = \langle S, A, T, s_0, Z, U \rangle$. Mechanics are emergent patterns arising from rules.

2. Lineage vs. Convergence

Strictly differentiating between documented historical influence (INFLUENCED_BY) and independent structural similarity (MECHANICALLY_SIMILAR_TO).

Temporal Architecture · Folio MMXXVI

Evelyna Bellamy investigates the architecture of material memory, engineering zero-dependency computational substrates, diurnal solar synchronization, and diegetic design systems that resist digital ephemerality. Her work bridges formal software engineering with empirical research into predictive systems, cognitive interaction ergonomics, and human-centered communication.
